Government provides relief for drought-affected Angolans

Angola continues to be affected by a devastating three-year drought, specifically in its southern and central provinces. Located in the southern province of Benguela, JAM is aware of the magnitude this disaster has had, and continues to have, on hundreds of thousands of children in Angola. Yet, in this tragedy, a glimmer of hope has emerged with the Angolan Government having committed 10.9 Billion Angolan Kwanza between May and October 2013 to assist the affected communities, as reported by
