To provide food security, nutrition, water and sanitation to vulnerable communities in Africa in dignified and sustainable ways.
To eradicate hunger, poverty and malnutrition in Africa.
FOOD AND NUTRITION
To continue to expand our programmes to reach hundreds of thousands of children throughout the continent. Giving children a nutritious meal every school day. Providing 75% of their daily nutritional needs.
To cater for these children’s nutritional needs and also to help their families while they are being schooled. Adequate nutrition, including protein, is needed to enhance their learning capacity.
WATER AND SANITATION
To address the alarming shortage of, and desperate need for clean drinking water and better sanitation practices on the continent, JAM will focus on increased water access and improvement of health and hygiene within vulnerable communities, as well as provision of water for use in agricultural initiatives.
To empower communities to develop school, community and smallholder commercial farms, to produce a good nutritious diet and diversification of inputs.
